A friend and I head out for breakfast every Sunday morning, in search of the best breakfast on the Grand Strand. We have been all over from Andrews to North Myrtle Beach and a few weeks ago, discovered Jenny's. It's off the main drag so you have to be looking for it on Glens Bay. It's well worth the time to find it, believe me.
Our first trip there was so good, we decided to try it a few more times to make sure it was as good as we thought it was the first time.
Their breakfast menu is extensive and they offer everything from eggs and the best home fries around, to chicken fried steak or pork chops and just about anything you could ever want to start a day with.
In a word, their food is, excellent. The eggs are always perfectly cooked, the potatoes are incredible with bits of onion and bell pepper and the breakfast meats are fresh and cooked to perfection. They serve huge portions of grits and they do not skimp on anything here. The service is excellent and Jenny works the floor with the other staff, and that says volumes to me.
Being a cook and being in a relationship with a woman that spent years owning a restaurant and a very successful catering business, we know good food and great service, That combination will make or break a small restaurant. Jenny's nailed it, every time we have been there.
The food is excellent, the choices are expansive and the service is Southern Friendly and very attentive. I wish the restaurants over on the Marsh Walk could take a page out of Jenny's book, but then again, bigger is not always better.
Thank you Jenny for a great place for breakfast, every day.

My family and I have come to this restaurant years in the past and always found it to be very inviting, the wait staff was friendly and enjoyed small talk, the food was delicious and always warm. After Hurricane Matthew it kind of all went downhill from there.
We went back twice after Matthew had done its damage and they reopened. It was.... meh at best. The cook had quit and the wait staffs friendliness went downhill big time. The final straw for me was when my father found food pieces floating in his tea and told the blonde waitress with a bad attitude. She promptly apologized, took his tea away, put her hands in my father's drink, refilled the glass and put the same straw in his cup! Which, in my opinion, is unhygienic and disgusting. My father confronted her about it and she told him that her "hands are clean, so it shouldn't matter!" We asked for the check and left.
Today we decided to go back after a few months. I figured it couldnt have possibly gotten worse, but oh boy was I wrong! Our waitress was the same blonde as before and her passive aggressive behavior was through the roof! We overheard her tell the table next to us that she wasnt the dishwasher so it wasnt her problem when on the the customers complained about lipstick on his glass. She also cussed at the table behind us because they were Clemson fans.
The food was edible, but I wont say it was good. My french toast was tough and hard to cut, let alone eat it! My sisters biscuit and gravy was decent. She complained about the white gravy being super sweet and her sausage being overdone. I dont think we will be going back here for a VERY long time, if ever. If you want a disappointing experience from a local breakfast restaurant, this is the place for you! -

Very slow. Took awhile to get waited on then a longer time for our food to be served. Don't recommend

DO NOT COME HERE. There are many fantastic breakfast places in surfside beach area and this is not one of them. I normally enjoy small, local places and can look past many things if the food and/or service makes up for it.
My mom found a CHICKEN BONE in her BREAKFAST POTATOES. Wtf is a chicken bone doing in home fries?!? I am deeply disturbed that this was found because who knows where this could have come from. This is a serious hazard, as she could have choked on the bone! Additionally, when she informed the waitress of this accident, the waitress PICKED UP THE BONE after it was in my moms mouth! Gross!! Waitress had absolutely no concern about this (no apologies or reimbursement).
In addition to the chicken bone fiasco, service was sub par, ordered extra bacon that was never received, and overcharged when the bill came.
Please avoid this place at all costs. Sorry for the bad review but THIS IS NOT OK! -

Very rude, helped everybody else that came in after we did. Manager with bleach blonde hair was VERY rude. We are locals that will never come back. Yelled at the waitress for her own inability to manage her staff and customers. Like we didn't even matter that we were upset or didn't even wanna try and fix it. Save your money and find a restaurant that will appreciate your business
